University Teaching & Advising
As a visiting assistant professor at Brigham Young University, I taught dance, including writing-intensive and creative thinking courses, and advised students on academic and career goals.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve guided learners of all ages through creative, academic, and real-world learning experiences—both in person and online. Whether in a classroom or online, my work centers on mentorship, making complex ideas approachable, and helping individuals grow into more confident, capable versions of themselves.

Highlights include:

Prisma Parent-Coach & Homeschool Leadership
Supported two learners through Prisma’s middle school program by providing consistent coaching, feedback, and project guidance. Prior to that, I designed and taught a year-long public speaking class for teens, mentored learners one-on-one, and created customized, project-based curricula aligned with state standards.

Online Education & Course Design
Created and taught dozens of online courses through platforms like Thank Your Body, SomaFit, and Munga Punga. Led live virtual classes, in-person workshops, and spoke at international conferences on creativity, education, and wellness.

Mentorship & Literacy Coaching
Worked with teens and adults to build skills in writing, communication, and creative expression—always with a focus on thoughtful feedback and personal growth.

Educational Programs & Initiatives

Leading Tomorrow Summit

Designed the summit structure and curriculum, identifying core themes and guiding participants through topic development.

A Digital Conference for Emerging Thought Leaders

Challenge: Organize a virtual public speaking summit to showcase emerging voices and help participants develop confidence as communicators.

Solution:

Coached and edited all 26 speaker presentations, supporting each individual in crafting a message that was clear, authentic, and engaging.

Oversaw promotion and communication strategy to ensure alignment with the summit’s mission and tone.

Outcome: The summit attracted 300+ attendees and created a supportive, skill-building space for emerging leaders. Participants reported increased confidence, and the event was praised for its professionalism, clarity, and creativity.

Munga Punga

Designed and taught a 6-week interdisciplinary curriculum with clear learning objectives and hands-on, imaginative challenges.

Reimagining Children's Creativity Education

Challenge: Launch a summer learning program to foster creativity and confidence in children through project-based learning.

Solution:

Created instructional materials, asynchronous video lessons, and family resources to support independent learning.

Wrote all communication content—including blog posts, newsletters, and video scripts—with a focus on accessibility and child-led exploration.

Outcome: Exceeded enrollment goals and received enthusiastic feedback from parents and educators about the program’s ability to spark imagination and support creative growth in learners.

SomaFit

Led a team of 16 professionals to deliver a cohesive, values-aligned fitness experience with an emphasis on movement education and accessibility.

Scaling Creative Projects to Success

Challenge: Launch an online fitness app while navigating a saturated health and wellness market.

Solution:

Taught online classes and interacted with users, building an engaged community.

Produced all web and educational content, combining evidence-based guidance with a supportive, inclusive tone

Outcome: Successfully launched the SomaFit app, building a loyal audience that valued its thoughtful approach to fitness and whole-body wellness.
